I am a self taught Leicestershire  artist. I come from an artistic family and developed a love of art and crafts at an early age and had my first picture published in a Calendar for the month of December at the age of 11.

My other great passion is Horses, I have been riding since I was a small girl and have my own horse George, (featured below left), I just couldn't resist capturing this pose, he was just about to get up for the carrot I had in my pocket!

My favourite medium is pastel and I use both soft pastels and pastel pencils to achieve the fine detail and a true likeness but most importantly to capture the individual personality of the subject.

I paint my Pastel portrait paintings on Ingrés Laid Pastel Paper (left), Duck Egg Blue Mount Board (below Left) and Velour Pastel Paper above using Soft Pastels and Pastel Pencils.

My favourite subjects are of course Horses, Animals and Venice although I enjoy painting a anything really and I am happy to undertake commissioned work on any subject, Details of Horse Portrait paintings can be found on the commissions page

I am also Secretary of The Bushloe Art Society based in Wigston, Leicester. I exhibit in the UK and have also won awards for my work.
